Buddilio Safety Centre

Your safety matters.

Buddilio is designed to make social discovery and experiences easier, but no online platform can guarantee that every interaction or meeting will be safe. Please use good judgment and take reasonable precautions.

Meet in public

For first meetings, choose:

  • Cafés
  • Restaurants
  • Shopping centres
  • Event venues
  • Public places
  • Other populated locations

Avoid isolated locations for first meetings.

Tell someone you trust

Let a friend or family member know:

  • Who you are meeting
  • Where you are going
  • Approximately when you expect to return

Control your personal information

Do not unnecessarily share:

  • Home address
  • Workplace address
  • Financial information
  • Passwords
  • OTPs
  • Identity documents
  • Private photographs

Protect your money

Never send money to another user simply because they claim to need urgent financial assistance. Be especially cautious about:

  • Investment requests
  • Emergency-money requests
  • Loan requests
  • Gift-card requests
  • Payment links
  • Requests for OTPs
  • Requests for banking credentials

During a meeting

If something feels wrong, leave. You do not owe another person continued interaction. Move to a public location and contact someone you trust.

Emergency situations

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services in your location. Buddilio is not an emergency-response service.

Report suspicious behaviour

Report:

  • Fraud
  • Harassment
  • Threats
  • Fake profiles
  • Financial scams
  • Unsafe behaviour
  • Abuse
  • Impersonation
  • Suspicious activity

Report a concern at any time.

Important reminder

Verification or a profile badge does not guarantee that a person is safe, trustworthy or suitable. Always use your own judgment.

Keep Buddilio on your home screen

Full-screen app, instant chats, and your saved experiences work even on patchy signal.
