Welcome to Buddilio.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") govern your access to and use of the Buddilio website, platform, applications, services, events, experiences, memberships and related features (collectively, the "Services").

Buddilio ("Buddilio", "we", "us", or "our") is a social discovery and experience platform designed to help people discover events, activities, experiences and companions with shared interests.

By accessing, registering for or using Buddilio, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Refund Policy, Safety Guide, and any additional terms applicable to specific services or events.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use Buddilio.

1. Eligibility

Buddilio is intended for adults.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 21 years old to create an account or use Buddilio, unless a particular service expressly states a different legal minimum age and such use is permitted by applicable law.

By using Buddilio, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 21 years old;

  • The information you provide is accurate and truthful;

  • You are legally capable of entering into these Terms; and

  • You will comply with applicable laws and regulations.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that the account belongs to a person who does not meet the applicable age requirement.

2. About Buddilio

Buddilio provides an online platform through which users may discover and participate in social experiences, events, activities and opportunities to connect with other people.

Depending on your location, Buddilio may provide access to:

  • Social discovery features

  • Member profiles

  • Social networking and communication tools

  • Events and activities

  • Dining and entertainment experiences

  • Travel and recreational experiences

  • Memberships

  • Event passes

  • Partner or third-party experiences

  • Other social and experience-related services

The availability of particular features, events and services may vary by location, membership level, availability and other circumstances.

3. Buddilio Is Not a Dating or Matchmaking Service

Buddilio is not a dating app or matchmaking platform.

The primary purpose of Buddilio is to facilitate social discovery, companionship, shared interests and experiences.

Members may naturally form friendships or other personal relationships through interactions on the platform, but Buddilio does not guarantee or facilitate romantic relationships, dating outcomes or matchmaking results.

4. Creating an Account

Certain Buddilio features may require registration.

When creating an account, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current and complete.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the accuracy of your account information;

  • Keeping your login credentials secure;

  • Preventing unauthorised access to your account;

  • Not sharing your account with another person; and

  • Informing Buddilio promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account unless you can establish that the activity occurred without your authorisation and despite reasonable security precautions.

5. One Account and Genuine Identity

Unless Buddilio expressly permits otherwise, each member should maintain one genuine Buddilio account and identity.

You must not:

  • Impersonate another person;

  • Create a fake identity;

  • Misrepresent your age or identity;

  • Create multiple accounts to deceive or manipulate others;

  • Use another person's account;

  • Circumvent an account suspension or restriction; or

  • Provide materially false information.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or permanent account termination.

6. Member Profiles

Members may create profiles containing information such as photographs, biographies, interests, preferences and other information.

You are responsible for the information you publish.

You must not upload or publish content that:

  • Is false or intentionally misleading;

  • Impersonates another person;

  • Infringes another person's rights;

  • Contains another person's personal information without appropriate permission;

  • Is abusive, threatening or harassing;

  • Contains hate speech or discriminatory material;

  • Promotes illegal activity;

  • Contains fraudulent or deceptive offers;

  • Solicits sexual services or transactions;

  • Attempts to obtain money through deception; or

  • Otherwise violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

7. Community Standards

Your use of Buddilio is subject to our Community Guidelines.

Members are expected to:

  • Treat others respectfully;

  • Respect consent and personal boundaries;

  • Communicate honestly;

  • Avoid harassment and intimidation;

  • Protect other members' privacy;

  • Avoid scams and financial exploitation;

  • Report unsafe or prohibited conduct; and

  • Follow applicable event and venue rules.

We may take action against accounts or content that violate our Community Guidelines or these Terms.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Buddilio to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate another person;

  • Bully or discriminate against others;

  • Engage in hate speech;

  • Send unwanted or repeated communications after being asked to stop;

  • Impersonate another person;

  • Operate fraudulent accounts;

  • Conduct scams or deceptive schemes;

  • Request money from members through fraudulent or manipulative means;

  • Promote unauthorised financial schemes;

  • Conduct unauthorised commercial activity;

  • Promote MLM or pyramid schemes;

  • Solicit sexual services or transactions;

  • Facilitate illegal activities;

  • Distribute malicious software or harmful content;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Buddilio systems;

  • Scrape or systematically collect member information without permission;

  • Manipulate platform features, rankings, reviews or engagement;

  • Circumvent security or account restrictions;

  • Use Buddilio for purposes that violate applicable law; or

  • Encourage or assist another person to engage in prohibited conduct.

9. Consent and Personal Boundaries

All interactions should respect clear, voluntary and ongoing consent.

A member may:

  • Decline an invitation;

  • End a conversation;

  • Stop communicating;

  • Leave an event;

  • Change their mind; or

  • Decline physical or personal interaction.

You must respect these decisions.

Pressure, coercion, manipulation, intimidation or repeated unwanted contact is prohibited.

10. No Sexual Services or Transactions

Buddilio is a social discovery and companionship platform.

It is not a platform for arranging, advertising, offering, purchasing or facilitating sexual services or sexual transactions.

Accounts, profiles, messages or events involving prohibited sexual solicitation or transactions may be removed and may result in suspension or permanent termination.

11. Safety

Buddilio takes reasonable measures intended to support a safer community, but no online platform can guarantee the identity, intentions or behaviour of its users.

You are responsible for using your own judgment when interacting with other members.

For first meetings, we strongly recommend that you:

  • Meet in public places;

  • Tell someone you trust where you are going;

  • Protect your personal information;

  • Never share financial credentials;

  • Never send money directly to another member;

  • Maintain control over your transportation; and

  • Report suspicious or unsafe behaviour.

12. Member Interactions

Buddilio provides tools that may help members discover and communicate with one another.

However, Buddilio does not guarantee:

  • That a particular member will respond;

  • That you will find a companion;

  • That a particular person will attend an event;

  • That a member's profile information is completely accurate;

  • That a member will behave appropriately;

  • That a social interaction will meet your expectations; or

  • Any particular social, personal or relationship outcome.

You are responsible for your decisions regarding interactions with other members.

13. Events and Experiences

Buddilio may list or facilitate events and experiences operated by Buddilio, independent organisers, venues or other third parties.

Event information may include:

  • Date and time;

  • Location;

  • Description;

  • Price;

  • Availability;

  • Age restrictions;

  • Participation requirements; and

  • Additional event-specific terms.

You are responsible for reviewing the applicable information and requirements before purchasing or participating.

Event availability may change.

14. Third-Party Event Organisers

Some events or experiences may be organised, hosted or provided by third parties.

In such cases, the organiser or provider may be responsible for:

  • Event operations;

  • Venue management;

  • Event staff;

  • Event-specific rules;

  • Service delivery;

  • Safety arrangements at the venue; and

  • Other matters within the organiser's control.

Buddilio may facilitate access to such events but does not necessarily control or operate every event listed on the platform.

Third-party events may also be subject to additional terms.

15. Event Changes and Cancellation

Buddilio or an event organiser may modify, postpone or cancel an event where reasonably necessary.

This may occur due to:

  • Operational reasons;

  • Venue availability;

  • Weather;

  • Safety concerns;

  • Insufficient participation;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Force majeure events; or

  • Other circumstances outside reasonable control.

If an event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, Buddilio may provide an alternative event, rescheduling option, credit, replacement pass or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

16. Memberships

Buddilio may offer paid or free membership plans.

Membership benefits, pricing, duration and eligibility will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, membership fees are generally non-refundable once the purchase has been completed, subject to applicable law and our Refund Policy.

Membership benefits may change over time as Buddilio develops its services.

Membership Renewal

Memberships do not automatically renew unless you expressly choose to renew them.

If a membership is presented as a recurring subscription in the future, the applicable renewal terms, frequency and cancellation conditions will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

17. Event Passes

Event passes provide access to the specific event or experience identified at the time of purchase.

Purchasing an event pass does not guarantee:

  • A particular companion;

  • A particular group;

  • A particular interaction;

  • A particular social outcome; or

  • Any outcome beyond the event or service described.

Event passes are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law, approved by Buddilio or provided under the applicable event terms and Refund Policy.

18. Prices and Payments

Prices displayed on Buddilio may vary by:

  • Event;

  • Experience;

  • Location;

  • Membership type;

  • Availability;

  • Promotional offer; or

  • Other applicable conditions.

You agree to pay the price displayed at the time you complete your purchase.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Buddilio generally does not store complete payment-card numbers or security codes.

You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information.

19. Taxes and Additional Charges

Where applicable, prices may include or exclude taxes, fees or other charges depending on the product, location and applicable law.

Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be disclosed where reasonably practicable before payment.

You are responsible for any taxes or charges that are legally payable by you.

20. Refunds and Cancellations

Memberships and event passes are generally non-refundable after successful purchase, subject to applicable law and the specific terms of the relevant service or event.

Refunds may be available where:

  • Required by applicable law;

  • Buddilio specifically approves a refund;

  • An event is cancelled or materially changed and a refund is determined to be appropriate;

  • A duplicate or erroneous payment is confirmed; or

  • Another applicable refund provision applies.

21. Promotional Offers

Buddilio may occasionally offer discounts, promotional codes, credits or special offers.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Offers may be limited in duration;

  • Offers may be subject to eligibility requirements;

  • Offers may not be combined;

  • Offers may not be exchanged for cash;

  • Offers may not be transferred; and

  • Buddilio may withdraw or modify an offer where permitted by applicable law.

Any special promotional terms will apply in addition to these Terms.

22. User Content

You may submit or publish content through Buddilio, including:

  • Photographs;

  • Profile information;

  • Reviews;

  • Messages;

  • Comments;

  • Event information; and

  • Other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights granted below.

By submitting User Content, you grant Buddilio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and technically process that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, improve and promote the Services.

This licence continues only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content.

23. Content Removal

Buddilio may remove, restrict or disable access to content that we reasonably believe:

  • Violates these Terms;

  • Violates our Community Guidelines;

  • Is unlawful;

  • Is fraudulent;

  • Creates a safety risk;

  • Infringes third-party rights; or

  • May harm the platform or its members.

We may take action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or comply with legal obligations.

24. Intellectual Property

Buddilio and its licensors own or control the intellectual property associated with the Buddilio Services, including, where applicable:

  • The Buddilio name;

  • Logos and branding;

  • Website design;

  • Software;

  • Platform features;

  • Text;

  • Graphics;

  • Original content;

  • User interface elements; and

  • Other proprietary materials.

Except as expressly permitted by Buddilio or applicable law, you may not:

  • Copy;

  • Modify;

  • Reproduce;

  • Distribute;

  • Sell;

  • License;

  • Reverse engineer;

  • Extract;

  • Scrape; or

  • Create derivative works from

Buddilio's proprietary materials.

The BUDDILIO name and associated branding may be protected by trademark rights.

25. Third-Party Links and Services

Buddilio may contain links, integrations or references to third-party websites, applications, payment providers, venues, organisers or services.

Third-party services may have their own:

  • Terms;

  • Privacy policies;

  • Fees;

  • Cancellation policies; and

  • Other requirements.

Buddilio is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.

26. Privacy

Your use of Buddilio is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains:

  • What information we collect;

  • How we use information;

  • How information may be shared;

  • Data retention;

  • Your privacy rights; and

  • Other privacy-related matters.

By using Buddilio, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable law.

27. Communications

By using Buddilio, you agree that we may send you essential communications relating to:

  • Your account;

  • Security;

  • Transactions;

  • Events;

  • Memberships;

  • Changes to the Services;

  • Policy updates; and

  • Other service-related matters.

Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional communications.

You may opt out of marketing communications using the available unsubscribe mechanism.

You may continue to receive essential service-related communications after opting out of marketing.

28. Reporting and Complaints
